Front 9 – Division 1

Through The Niuc playing off a reduced handicap of five Colin Black was leading by two points from Neil McVeigh (6). Another point behind came Malachy Bellew (4), Trevor Fletcher (6) and George McCooke (6) followed by Paul Hughes (5) a further point down. Approaching the Sanctuary Black was joined by Bellew and were being hard pressed by Fletcher and Hughes a point behind. A further point away came McVeigh and McCooke. Black finished birdie, par to win by one point from Bellew (two pars). In a close frinish for third place Fletcher (bogey, par), Hughes (two pars), McVeigh (two pars) and McCooke (bogey, birdie) finished together with third place going to McVeigh with a better last three.

 

Front 9 – Division 2

Approaching The Niuc Jonathan Larmour (10) held a one point advantage over William Moore (9) and Colin Gray (10) with Ronan Speers (12) and William Rice (7) ('ding' at Spences) a further one and two points respectively behind. Down Broadways Larmour was joined in the lead by Moore and Speers. A point behind came Rice with Gray another point away. In another close finish Larmour (par, double bogey, par) and Moore (double bogey, bogey, birdie) came home together with first place going to Moore with a better last six. A point behind came Speers (par, bogey, 'ding'), Rice (bogey, par, par) and Gray (bogey, par, par). Third place went to Rice with a better last six.

The Gross winner was Jonathan McNeill (-2) with 18 gr/pts.

 

Back 9 – Division 1

Through The Maple George Small (5) and John McCarry (6) were vying for the lead two points clear of Rodney Lennox (4). Thomas McNeill (4) was another point behind. Over Beechers Small and McCarry were still two and three points clear of Lennox and McNeill respectively. Small (two bogeys and a par) and McCarry (par and two bogeys) finished together with Small taking first place with a better last six. A point behind the placings came McNeill (par, bogey, birdie) and Rod Lennox (par, bogey, par)

 

Back 9 – Division 2

Coming to The Maple Philip Galloway (8) was leading by a point from Robin Deane (10) followed by Alan Knox (9) another point behind. Over Beechers and up the Grove Knox (three pars) and Deane (par, bogey, par) were the new joint leaders by a point from Galloway (double bogey, bogey, par). Knox (double bogey, bogey), Deane (bogey, double bogey) and Galloway (double bogey, par) finished together. First place went to Knox with a better last six and Galloway with a better last six finished in second place.
