Through the Trout Hole David Halliday (4) was leading by one, two and three points respectively from Raymond Steele (11), Ronnie Gilchrist (8) and William McKigney (10) ('ding' at the opening hole). Down Broadmeadows Steele after a run of par at the Niuc followed by a bogey and a double bogey joined Halliday (par and two bogeys) in the lead by a point over McKigney (birdie, bogey, double bogey. Gilchrist ('ding' and two pars) was another point behind. In a very close finish Halliday bogeyed The Treasury followed by a par and finished with a birdie at Longlands to win by one point from Steele (par, double bogey, bogey), McKigney (double bogey and two pars) and Gilchrist who finished strongly with three pars. McKigney came second with a better last six and third place went to Gilchrist with a better last six. Sean McElroy (-1) won the Gross with 16 gr/pts. 

Results – 1st. David Halliday (4) 20 Pts – 2nd. William McKigney (10) 19 Pts (BL6) – 3rd. Ronnie Gilchrist (8) 19 Pts (BL6) – Gross – Sean McIlroy (-1) – 16 gr/pts.

Richard Lennox (9) set the early pace opening with two pars and a birdie to take a two point lead over Malcolm Sharpe (11) (two bogeys and a par). William Rainey (par and two bogeys) and Steven Carmichael (4) (birdie, bogey, par) were another point behind with Jonny McIlroy (5) (par, bogey, par) a further point back. Lennox continued his good opening with three more pars (at The Maple, Devils Elbow and Beechers). Rainey also improved with three pars at the same three holes to close to within two points of Lennox. A further two points back came Sharp after three bogeys. Three more points down came Carmichael (par and two bogeys) and McIlroy (par, bogey, par). With three to play Richard Lennox parred the Grove and the Lowlands and finished with his first bogey to increase his lead to win by four points from Rainey (par, double bogey, bogey) in second place. Another point behind, Carmichael with a birdie at the Grove followed by a par at the Lowlands and a birdie finish came third. McIlroy with three pars and Sharp (par, bogey, double bogey) came in together a further point behind and fourth place went to McIlroy with a better last six. Michael Reid (-2) won the Gross with 19 gr/pts.

Results – 1st. Richard Lennox (9) – 27 Pts – 2nd. William Rainey (10) – 23 Pts – 3rd. Steven Carmichael – 22 Pts – 4th. Jonny McIlroy (5) – 21 Pts (BL6) – Gross – Michael Reid (-2) – 19 gr/Pts.
