Front 9 – Division 1

Barry Agnew, playing off a reduced handicap of three, opened his round with a par followed by two birdies to lead through the Trout Hole. Jonny McIlroy (4) and Chris Cooke (5) were one point behind with Tom McNeill (3) another point behind. Approaching The Treasury Agnew after a par, birdie, par was still leading by a point from Cooke (par, bogey, par). McIlroy (two pars and a bogey) and McNeill (birdie and two pars) were another point back. Agnew birdied The Treasury and finished with two pars to win by two points from McNeill (par, birdie, par), Cooke (par, bogey, birdie) and McIlroy (par, birdie, par). With a better last six second place went to McNeill with McIlroy taking third place with a better last three.

 

Front 9 – Division 2

Through The Niuc Kenneth Gregg (8) and Jordan Dembinski (7) ('ding' at Spences) were vying for the lead but being hard pressed by Richard Lennox (8) and Tony Dodds (10) close up a point behind. A further point back came Jordan Savage (9) and Neil McVeigh (6). Approaching the Sanctuary Gregg was still ahead by two points, after recording two pars and a birdie, from Savage who also scored two pars and a birdie. Dodds (par, double bogey, par) was another point behind and a further point down came Dembinski (par, 'ding', par), Lennox (par, double bogeu, par) and McVeigh (bogey and two pars). Gregg completed his round with two pars to win by three points from Savage (par, bogey) and Lennox (birdie, par) and with a better last six Savage took second place with Richard Lennox in third place. A point behind the placings came Dembinski (bogey, birdie), Neil McVeigh (two pars) and Dodds (par, bogey).

The Gross was won by Matthew Reid (Scr) with 21 gr/pts.

 

Back 9 – Division 1

There was a close finish to this Division between David Gault, David Halliday and William Park. Through Arthurs Seat Willi Park (5) held a narrow one point advantage over David Halliday (5) with David Gault (4) another point behind. Over Beechers Park with a run of bogey, par, birdie was holding firm to lead by a point from Gault (birdie and two pars). Halliday (par, bogey, par) was another point behind. In a very close finish Park returned a bogey at the Grove, a par at the Lowlands and finished with another par. He was joined by Gault who came home birdie, double bogey and another birdie and Halliday who finishwd with a birdie and two pars. First place went to Gault with a better last six and Halliday finished in second place with a better last six.

 

Back 9 – Division 2

Ronnie Gilchrist (9) opened with a par, birdie, par, bogey to lead through The Maple but was being hard pressed by Malachy Kyne (10) and L.Campbell (9) close up a point behind. Another point back came Clifford Irvine (9). Up the Grove and with a run of three pars Gilchrist was leading by one point from Kyne (birdie, par, bogey). Three and four points further back came Irvine (par and two bogeys) and Campbell (double bogey, par, double bogey) respectively. Gilchrist finished par, bogey to win by four points from Kyne (bogey, 'ding'), Irvine (bogey, par) and Campbell (two pars) who finished together. Second place went to Irvine with a better last three.

Jamie Sutherland (-2) won the Gross with 22 gr/pts.
