In the Harry Dunlop Refrigeration Europe sponsored Stableford played at Galgorm Castle Golf Club six handicapper Brian McFall jnr. was leading at halfway by two points from Owen Elliot (19). Jonathan McKeown (11), Colin Steele 5) and Kurtis McCartney (8) were another point behind with Joshua Hill (-1) a further point back. Through The Maple McFall jnr. had increased his lead to four points over Elliot (‘ding’ at The Maple) who was joined by McKeown and Steele. McCartney and Hill were a further one and two points respectively behind. Up the Grove McKeown after three pars and Elliot (par, birdie, double bogey) had closed to within one point of McFall jnr. (par, bogey, par). Steele (par, birdie, bogey) was another two points back followed by McCartney (par, bogey, par) and Hill (birdie, par, par) a further point behind.
In a close finish McKeown came home par, birdie to Win Overall by one point from McFall jnr. (bogey, par) and Elliot (par, bogey) and the Overall Runner-up place went to Elliot with a better back nine. McFall jnr. won Division 1 a point ahead of Steele (birdie, par) in second place. Two points further back came McCartney (two pars) and Hill (par, birdie) with McCartney taking third place. Hill won the Gross.
In Division 2 at the turn John McCarley (13) held a two point advantage over Tony Carroll (11). Aidan O’Kane (15) was another point behind and John McCarry (11) was another point back. Approaching The Maple McCarley (‘ding’ at eleven) was leading by one point from Carroll with O’Kane and McCarry a further point behind. Over Beechers and with three to play Carroll (birdie, ‘ding’, par) joined McCarley (two pars and a ‘ding’) in the lead with McCarry (par, bogey, par) a point behind. O’Kane (double bogey, bogey, par) was a further point back. In a very close finish Carroll (double bogey, par, par) and McCarry (par, bogey, par) finished together and first place went to McCarry with a better back nine. Third place went to O’Kane (two bogeys and a par) a point behind. McCarley (double bogey, bogey, ‘ding’) was a further two points away.
Approaching the back nine in Division 3 Kevin Devlin (21) held a narrow one point advantage over Antony Blair (18). James Millar (18) was another two points away followed by William Crawford (26) and Daniel McIlroy (22) a further point behind. Andrew Robinson (19) was two more points back. At the fourteenth tee Devlin had increased his lead to three points over Blair with an improved Robinson another two points behind. Millar, McIlroy (‘ding’ at eleven) and Crawford were a further three, four and five points respectively behind. Up the Grove Devlin’s (par, double bogey, ‘ding’) lead increased to five points over Blair (‘ding’, bogey, ‘ding’) and Robinson (bogey, ‘ding’ bogey). Two points further back came Millar (bogey, double bogey, bogey) with Crawford (par, double bogey, triple bogey) and McIlroy (bogey, two double bogeys) another two points down. Devlin finished with two pars to win comfortably by four points ahead of Blair (bogey, par) in second place. Third place went to Robinson (two double bogeys) another three points behind. A further point behind the placings came Crawford (two bogeys), McIlroy (bogey, par) and Millar (‘ding’, par)
