Galgorm Castle Golf Club was the venue for the Lumi Windows sponsored Monthly Medal. After the front nine Vincent Miskelly (4) was leading by two shots from Harry Cook (19) with Barry Mott (16), Joshua Hill (-1) and Brian McFall jnr. (6) in close attendance another shot behind. Joel McNeilly (5) and David Stirling jnr. (5) were a further one and two shots respectively behind.
Approaching Beechers Brook Cook had overtaken Miskelly and was the new leader by two shots from Hill, Miskelly and McNeilly. Mott was another shot behind with McFall jnr. and Stirling jnr. a further shot down. Mott hit a purple patch over the closing four holes and finished with four pars to Win Overall by two shots from Cook who finished bogey, double bogey and two bogeys to take the Overall Runner-up placing. Srirling jnr. came with a late run of birdie and three pars to finish another shot behind along with Hill (four pars) and McNeilly (two pars, double bogey and a birdie). Stirling jnr. won Division 1 with a better back nine and McNeilly took second place. Hill won the Gross. A further shot behind came McFall jnr. (four pars) and Miskelly (par, double bogey, par, birdie) and with a better back nine third place went to McFall jnr.
In Division 2 at the turn there was a three way tie with Ricki Simpson (11), Jonathan McCart (10) and Neville Neill (10) vying for the lead a shot ahead of Neil Fitzsimmons (13). Philip Smyth (12) and Tony Carroll (11) were another shot behind followed by Darryl Robinson (13) a further shot back. Through Beechers an improved Carroll had joined Simpson and McCart but were being hard pressed by Neill, Fitzsimmons and Smyth a shot behind with Robinson another shot back. In a close finish Simpson (par and two bogeys), McCart (par and two bogeys) and Neill (bogey and two pars) came home together and with a better back six first place went to Simpson from McCart in second place. Neill won the Seniors. What a finish for third place another two shots behind between Carroll (two double bogeys and a par), Fitzsimmons (bogey, triple bogey and a birdie), Robinson (bogey, double bogey, birdie) and Smyth (three bogeys) who finished together. Third place went to Robinson with a better back six.
At the halfway point in Division 3 Rory Drysdale (17) held a three shot advantage over Ronnie Taylor (15). Billy Goodall (16) was another shot behind followed by Aidan O’Kane ()17) and John Caulfield (17) a further shot back.
Through the Devils Elbow O’Kane had improved to lead by a shot from Drysdale, Taylor and Caulfield with Goodall another shot behind. In a close finish with only two shots separating the five players O’Kane came home par, par, double bogey, bogey to win by one shot from Caulfield (two pars, bogey, double bogey) in second place. A further shot behind came Taylor (two bogeys, par, double bogey), Drysdale (double bogey, two bogeys, par) and Goodall (bogey, par, two bogeys). Third place went to Goodall with a better back nine.

At the halfway mark Peter Alexander (20) was leading by a comfortable three points from Ivan Graham (24) with Daniel McIlroy (23) and Bernie Frayne (23) a further two points behind. Through The Maple Alexander’s lead was cut to two points by Graham who was joined by an improved Frayne with the help of pars at eleven and twelve. McIlroy was a further two points behind. Approaching the Lowlands, Alexander, after a bogey, par and a double bogey was still ahead by two points from Graham (par, bogey, double bogey) and Frayne (bogey, par, double bogey). McIlroy (bogey, par, bogey) was another point behind. P.Alexander finished with two bogeys to win by two points from I.Graham (double bogey, bogey). McIlroy (triple bogey, par) and Frayne (triple bogey, bogey) were another point away and with a better back nine Daniel McIlroy took third place.
