The monthly Medal competition played at Galgorm Castle Golf Club was sponsored by Bob & Berts Artisan Coffee.
At halfway Jordan Hood (-3) was one shot ahead of Jonathan Keys (17) and Trevor Fletcher (14). J.J. McAnally (4) and Aaron McAuley (8) were a further shot behind followed by Trevor Fleming (8) another shot back. Through The Maple Keys and McAnally were leading by a shot from Hood with Fletcher and Fleming another shot away. McAuley lost ground at The Fort (double bogey) and Arthurs Seat (double bogey) and was a further three shots down. Up the Grove Keys and McAnally were still holding on to their one shot advantage over Hood with Fletcher and Fleming a further shot back. McAuley had gained a shot and was now only two shots down. Over the closing two holes J.Keys finished with two bogeys but held on to win Overall by one shot from Fletcher (bogey, birdie), McAnally (bogey, par) and Hood (two pars). Second Overall place went to Fletcher with a better back six. G.Hood won the Gross and JJ.McAnally won Division 1 by one shot from Fleming (bogey, par) in second place. McAuley (two pars) finished another shot away.
At the turn in Division 2 John McCarry (11) was was leading by four shots from Chris Cooke (12). Tony Carroll (11) was a further shot behind. Approaching The Maple Cooke, after a double bogey and two pars, had closed to within two shots of McCarry who hit bogey trouble (bogey, double bogey, bogey). Carroll with two bogeys and a par was within three shots of the leader. Carroll with a par over Beechers gained another shot on McCarry (bogey). Cooke was another two shots away after a triple bogey at fourteen. McCarry came home with a par and two bogeys to win by three shots from Carroll (bogey, triple bogey, birdie) and Cooke (double bogey, par, birdie) and with a better back six second place went to Carroll. Cooke won the Seniors.
After the outward half in Division 3 Joe Barr (17) and Kevin Duffin (21) held a slender one shot advantage over Seamus Laverty (16) with Ian Stewart (17) another point away. Through The Maple Barr, Duffin and an improved Stewart were vying for the lead a shot ahead of Laverty. Up the Grove there was a four way tie between Barr (three bogeys), Duffin (bogey, double bogey, bogey), Laverty (two bogeys and a par) and Stewart (double bogey, bogey, par). Down the Lowlands the scores remained the same making fot an exciting finish. Barr parred the eighteenth to win by a shot from Laverty (bogey) and Duffin (bogey) and with a better back nine second place went to Laverty. Srewart (double bogey) was another shot behind.

Entering the back nine Harkness McCaughan (20) was leading by a point from Philip Magill (18). Mark Fry (27) and John Fitzgerald (18) were a further one and two points respectively behind with Andy Young (22) another three points down after running into ‘ding’ trouble over the previous three holes. Magill parred The Fort to join McCaughan (bogey) and they were level through The Maple. Fitzgerald was two points behind followed by Fry and a much improved Young another another point behind. Over Beechers Magill had moved into a one point lead with a par at fourteen to a bogey from McCaughan which he held over Beechers. A further two points back came Young and Fitzgerald with Fry another point away. In a close contest over the three closing holes Magill finished with three bogeys to win by one point from McCaughan (double bogey, par, bogey) in second place. Four points further back came Young, Fitzgerald and Fry.
