Head Professional

Phil Collins has been at Galgorm Castle since 2000. He spent 3 years at Royal County Down as Assistant Professional under the supervision of Kevan Whitson. After qualifying as a PGA Professional Phil played full time on the Europro Tour and Irish Pro Am Circuit and won the Ulster Open Championship, Greenore Challenge and many other Pro Ams in the Irish Region. He coached the Ulster Ladies and Girls Squads with the latter winning the Inter Provincials 2 years in succession.

Assisant Professional Philip Graham

Philip turned professional after the Summer of 2007. He played off a handicap of -2.4 coming through the junior ranks at Galgorm,before turning professional. He represented Ulster for numerous years and also holds 2 course records. After turning Pro he had success instantly finishing 7th in his 1st event and winning the Southern Assisants in his 2nd event. His knowledge of playing at a high level will be benefical to pupils looking to improve their game. With his knowledge of learning the training programme in the PGA he has become more understanding about what makes golfers improve in all areas of the game including Psychology and Sports Science.
